Wyoming secured a tie for first place in the Mountain West Conference with Boise State after winning road game against Air Force as two German natives contributed in the win for the Cowboys. An outstanding Wyoming defensive performance including contributions from defensive end MARK NZEOCHA and ALEX BORGS helped the Cowboys to a 25-17 road victory against Air Force to improve to 6-3 and 3-1 in the Mountain West Conference.

Boise State dropped their first game of the season as a 39-yard field-goal attempt went wide to give TCU a 36-35 victory against the fifth-ranked Broncos. The three players from the Netherlands contributed in the game for Boise State as GERALDO BOLEWIJN had three catches for 46 yards and defensively CEDRIC FEBIS had five tackles and RICK TJONG-A-TJOE recorded one tackle.
SEUNG HOON CHOI played at offensive tackle during the Nebraska's 17-14 win over Penn State at Beaver Stadium. Choi, a native of Seoul, South Korea, played high school football at Lincoln Christian High School where he earned honorable-mention all-state honors in Class C-1 his senior year.
Top-ranked LSU defeated Western Kentucky 42-9 to improve to 10-0 for the first time since 1958. Australian punter BRAD WING has been impressive all season long had two punts for 68 yards. On the season he has 1,674 yards on 39 punts for an average of 42.9 yards per punt.
Alabama bounced back this week with a 24-7 victory against Mississippi State to improve to 9-1 overall and 6-2 in the Southeastern Conference. Australian JESSE WILLIAMS started at defensive end, recording two tackles in the win.
The Florida State Seminoles defeated Miami in a 23-19 down to the wire game to not only capture their second victory in as many years over the Hurricanes but also put themselves in position to claim back-to-back championships. German native and former IFAF World team player BJOERN WERNER registered three tackles and one for a loss of six yards.
Hawaii suffered a 42-28 loss to Western Athletic Conference foe Nevada. Australian punter ALEX DUNNACHIE punted for 233 yards on five punts for an average of 46.6 yards. Fellow Australian SCOTT HARDING returned two punts for 15 yards and a kickoff for 30 yards.
Two international football players from American Samoa and Ireland lined up against each other as Colorado came out on top defeating Arizona 48-29. Colorado's DARRAGH O'NEILL, a freshman punter from Ireland, had three punts for 115 yards while Wildcats' AIULUA FANENE, who played for IFAF World Team in 2010, had three tackles for Arizona.
Boston College claimed their second ACC win of the season defeating North Carolina State 14-10. In the victory, KASIM EDEBALI had three tackles including one for a loss of three. Prior to playing for the Eagles, Edebali played in Hamburg, Germany and then played at Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire as a member of the USA Football's International Student Program. He has started each game this season collecting 23 total tackles. MARKUS KUHN another German native, started at defensive tackle for NC State.
SMU lost to Navy 24-17 as MARGUS HUNT who hails from Estonia recorded one tackle in the loss for the Mustangs who are currently 6-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
West Virginia blocked a field goal on the final play of the game to preserve a 24-21 victory against number 23-ranked Cincinnati. German native and USA Football International Student Program alumni CURTIS FEIGT played offensive line for the Mountaineers.
USF beat Syracuse 37-13 to snap a four-game losing streak in conference play. Brazilian MAIKON BONANI had a perfect game connecting on three fields from 29-yards, 46-yards and 35-yards. He also went 4-4 on extra points.
24th ranked South Dakota sent their seniors out in winning fashion with a 48-14 victory against Missouri S&T to improve the Coyotes to 6-4 on the year. Dutch native DONNY ALVES FORTES played for South Dakota this season.
TIMM KAMINSKI, who began his football career in Germany then went on to play high school football at Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire as a member of the IFAF-indorsed USA Football International Student Program, helped American International College football close out the 2011 campaign with a 54-6 Northeast-10 victory at Pace University. The Yellow Jackets finished the season with an overall record of 6-4 and tied for third in the NE-10 with a 5-3 mark in conference play. Kaminski collected six tackles including two for a loss of three yards.
JEFF BEDIAKO from the Netherlands and German MARIUS BURGSMULLER played for Idaho during their 42-7 loss to BYU. Third-ranked and unbeaten, Sam Houston State looked every bit the part of the Southland Conference's outright football champions defeating Northwestern State 43-17 and Australian punter MATT FOSTER finished with 172 yards on four punts.
Visiting Tennessee Tech won the play for first place in the Ohio Valley Conference defeating Eastern Kentucky 28-21. Australian punter JORDAN BERRY had 274 yards on 7 seven punts for an average of 39.1 yards. Memphis fell 41-35 to UAB in a Conference USA matchup as punter TOM HORNSEY finished with 222 yards on five punts. Eastern Michigan earned its first six-win season since 1995 with a 30-17 victory against visiting Buffalo in a Mid-American Conference cross-divisional game and JAY KARUTZ punted five times for 191 yards.
Sweden native, FILIP JONSSON helped Lindenwood earn a big victory over a future conference opponent defeating Central Oklahoma 48-14 in their final regular season contest.
IFAF World Team alum RORY DEW played offensive line during University of Incarnate Word's 61-16 loss to Abilene Christian University to finish the 2011 season 2-8.
