The Hogs celebrate victory.
The Rome Grizzlies in the Under 18 category and Reggio Hogs (pictured) in Under 21 are the new 2011 Youth Champions of Italy.
The Grizzlies defeated Milan Seamen and the Hogs triumphed over Lazio Marines at the Vigorelli Stadium in Milan. The MVPs were Turrin (Seamen, U18) and Callegati (Hogs, U21).
The Bolzano Giants Bolzano (U15) and Grosseto Longhors (U18) were crowned the champions of the five-man Under 15 and Under 18 competitions with Sottura (Blue Storms in Under 15) and Giannini (Giants in Under 18) named MVPs.
Football Camp in California
Italian federation Fidaf and Bob Frasco, who played in Italy across '80 and '90 for the Frogs and Phoenix, is following up two successful camps held in Milan and Monza by hosting a ‘QB Receivers Camp 125' in California in 2012.

The participants will arriveat California Lutheran University on June 22 and then take part in a full time camp from June 23-26. They will also visit Orange County College and practice on the field, have a party at Newport Beach, visit Chapman College and practice on the field, then experience Disneyland. The group will also visit Irvine High School for a campus tour and practice and shop at specialist American football stores.
