A junior national team of Germany has qualified for the final tournament of the U19 European Championship.

Germany is the last qualifier for the final tournament of the U19 European Championship and will compete along with Austria (reigning champion), France (organizer) and Italy who defeated Serbia earlier in May, in Belgrade, in the qualifying match.

The U19 qualifying tournament took place in Almere, The Netherlands, 2–4 June. Switzerland, Spain, Germany and The Netherlands took part in the competition and fought for the last one ticket to Paris.

In the semifinal team Spain won over the host, team of the Netherlands, with 14 : 6, and Germany triumphed over the Swiss with 51 : 0.

So, Spain and Germany confronted their power and strength in the final, but Germans once again convincingly defeated their opponents – they beat 43 : 0 against Spain and conquered the first place in the tournament.

These four national teams will compete in U19 European Championship, which will be held in Paris, capital of France, 14–16 July, 2017.
